Terms of service

AQRA computes source terms, dispersion, fire, explosion and toxic consequence, and integrates them into individual and societal risk. It is an engineering tool used by a competent person. It produces calculations, figures and a draft report from the inputs you give it.

It is not a substitute for professional judgement, and it does not certify, approve or sign off anything. The engineer who issues a study is responsible for its inputs, its assumptions and its conclusions.

• An account is for one named person. Do not share your password or let anyone else work under your login.
• You must give a real work email address and keep it current, because it is how we reach you about your subscription and about the service.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
• We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, to break the law, or in a way that damages the service for others.

The studies you build, the plant data you enter and the reports you issue belong to you or to your client. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to train anything.

We process them only to run the tool for you, and to keep it working. What we hold and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

Access is sold as a period of time. A trial, a paid period, a promotional code or a grant from us each add days to your account. Nothing renews automatically and no card is stored, so access never continues, and is never charged for, without you choosing it.

When a period ends your studies stay readable and downloadable. What stops is new work: creating, editing, running, assessing and issuing. Adding time restores all of it.

Prices are shown on the plan before you pay, in Indian rupees, and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for future purchases; a period you have already paid for is not affected.

• Do not attempt to gain access to another account, to our infrastructure, or to data that is not yours.
• Do not resell, sublicense or provide AQRA as a service to a third party without a written agreement with us.
• Do not use automated means to extract the chemical library, the correlations or the model outputs in bulk.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to process.

We work to keep AQRA available and correct, and we say plainly on a result when the engine could not compute something. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced by email where we can; an urgent fix may not be.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with AQRA is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for the consequences of an engineering decision taken on the basis of a study.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using AQRA at any time and simply not add more time. You may ask us to close your account and delete your data, and we will do so as set out in the privacy policy. We may end the agreement if these terms are broken and the breach is not put right after we ask.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thane, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

We will post any change here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you we will email the address on your account before it takes effect.
