Privacy policy

This says what we collect when you use AQRA, why we hold it, where it sits and how long it stays. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
Who is responsible
What we collect
Because you gave it to us. Your name, work email address, company, and the password you set, which is stored only as an Argon2id hash and is never readable by us or by anyone else.
Because you did the work. The studies you build: plant data, chemicals, equipment, scenarios, buildings, population, results, figures and the reports you issue.
Because the service ran. An audit record of significant actions on your account, with the time and the originating IP address. Sign-in attempts. Ordinary server logs.
Because you paid. The plan, the amount, the date, the receipt number and the payment reference our gateway returns. We never see or store your card details. They are entered on Razorpay’s own checkout and stay with them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
- We do not use your studies or your plant data to train any model.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the tool.
- We do not read your studies except when you ask us for support and we need to, or where the law requires it.
Why we are allowed to hold it
To perform the contract you entered into when you created an account; to meet our legal obligations, including keeping records of payments for tax; and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.
Where it is held
AQRA runs on Microsoft Azure in the Central India region, and the web application is served from Vercel. Your studies and files are held in Azure, in India. Where you have connected your own Microsoft 365 storage, filed deliverables are written into your own tenant and are under your control, not ours.
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Email is delivered through Azure Communication Services. Each processes data on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
- Your account and your studies: while your account exists, and for 90 days after you ask us to close it, so an accidental request can be undone.
- Working files such as backdrops and generated documents: 14 days in the working store, unless filed to your own storage, where they stay until you remove them.
- Payment records: eight years, because Indian tax law requires it.
- Audit and security logs: 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@arborionglobal.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the answer you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Cookies
AQRA sets two cookies, both strictly necessary and both httpOnly, so no script on the page can read them: one holds your short-lived session and one lets it be renewed without asking you to sign in again. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
Children
AQRA is a professional engineering tool. It is not offered to anyone under 18.
If something goes wrong
If a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay, with what we know, what we are doing and what you should do.
